Anastrozole 1 mg Side Effects
Side effects include hot flashes, headaches, sleeplessness, dizziness, stomach disturbance, nausea/vomiting, constipation, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, weight gain, tiredness/weakness, increased coughing, and a sore throat. If any of these adverse effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately away. Keep in mind that your doctor prescribed this medication because the benefit to you outweighs the risk of side effects. The majority of people who use this medication experience no significant side effects. If you have any of the following serious side effects: bone pain, easily broken bones, joint stiffness/pain, muscle pain/stiffness, mental/mood changes (such as depression), numb/tingling skin, swelling hands/ankle/feet, shortness of breath, unusual vaginal discharge/bleeding/itching/odor, pain/redness/swelling of arms or legs, vision changes, or signs of liver disease. If you have any severe adverse effects, such as pain in your chest, jaw, or left arm, dizziness, difficulty speaking, or weakness on one side of your body, seek medical help right once. Rarely can this medication induce a serious allergic reaction. However, if you notice any symptoms of a severe allergic reaction, such as a rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face, tongue, or neck), significant dizziness, or breathing difficulties, get medical help right away.
Precautions
Before using anastrozole, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies. Before taking this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical issues, especially heart illness (such as a history of heart attack), bone loss (osteoporosis), liver disease, high blood pressure, or blood clots. This medicine has the potential to cause dizziness. If you drink or use marijuana, you may get dizzy (cannabis). Do not drive, operate machinery, or engage in any other activity that necessitates alertness until you are confident that you can do so safely. Consume alcoholic beverages in moderation.
