This drug can boost up muscle growth, gain in strength and increase the translation of proteins. It is highly androgenic.

Mechanism of action:

The mechanism of action of methyltrienolone is similar to other anabolic steroids.

Androgen Receptor Activation: Methyltrienolone binds to receptors in target cells, leading to formation of an activated androgen-receptor complex. It then reaches the cell nucleus and binds androgen response elements (AREs) present on DNA.
Protein Synthesis: Activation of genes present on nucleic acid causes translation which is the process of building new proteins which helps in repair of tissues and increase in muscles mass.
Nitrogen Retention: AAS compounds, including methyltrienolone, enhance nitrogen retention in the muscles. Nitrogen is an essential component of proteins, and an increased nitrogen balance indicates a positive anabolic state, where the body is building more muscle tissue than it is breaking down.

It is not recommended for medical purposes since it may cause infertility and may also lead to serious adverse effects.
